When you celebrate your customer’s wins - you help people realize there’s a tribe they want to join because they want the same experience.
Push. Drive. Hustle. Achieve. Repeat.
Ever feel like you’re so busy running your business that you never get a chance to stop and enjoy the freedom your business brings?
Think about it: every milestone is a chance to reinforce the conviction that your hard-fought effort is worth it.
So let’s take a moment to reflect on the value of doing something you may never think of.
Today I’m going to show you:
Let’s dive in…
“I’m just afraid to step away,” he blurted out during a coaching call.
Dana was in the midst of relocating his family to a new home and was feeling the pressure of a move against the demands of his course business.
But then I asked him a question…“Is your business going to blow up if you’re not on your computer for a few days?”
The obvious answer was “no”.
I reminded him that all the revenue he’s generating now is the result of work he did months ago.
His business was at a point to where it was serving him more than he was serving it, but he was forgetting to recognize this fact.
He was missing a crucial step:
To stop, sit back, and enjoy the moment.
To celebrate the fact that he’s earning a handsome living - all without being chained to his computer.
Celebrating milestones gives you a sense of freedom - a sense of power that you’ll miss if you don’t stop to recognize what you’ve accomplished.
Imagine two open doors down a long hallway. One has music and laughter streaming out, while the other is deadly silent.
Which party are you going to join?
When you celebrate your customer’s wins - you help people realize there’s a tribe they want to join because they want the same experience.
Post the praise.
Share the testimonial.
And celebrate the way you’re changing lives for each of your customers.
Sometimes the pain is easier to recall than the pleasure.
When you not only document, but commemorate your wins, you have a history to draw on.
Sure, you have financial reports, but what about success reports?
Achieving something big is the result of a thousand different actions, but ask yourself - what sticks out to you that moved the needle most?
Empty games promise empty rewards
So changes the rules of the game to help you recognize and emphasize where to be grateful and where to celebrate.
My recent celebration is in my coaching clients.
They keep extending their time with me because they get results.
I get even get the honor of being a trusted advisor to helping navigate some life-altering decisions.
Not only do I get to celebrate this fact, but I’m humbled by it too.
So look around a bit.
Sometimes you have to take a second look.
Find your wins.
Celebrate them.
And enjoy your accomplishments.
And as always… be intentional.
